Smallmouth bass fishing is great on many of the minnesota lakes in the Edge of the Wilderness Resort Area.Each fall the hunting opportunities abound for ducks, geese, ruffed grouse, whitetail deer, bear and moose. (The Fall fishing is great too!)

In the winter, you can relax in a resort cabin or comfortable motel room complete with a fireplace, then get a bite to eat at one of our area cafes or restaurants before heading out to take advantage of our well-groomed snowmobile and cross-country skiing trails. Our trails intersect with trails leading to every part of the state.
